Savvy Cyber Teacher® Summer Institute

Savvy Cyber Teacher® (SCT) is offered each July on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology.

Teachers leave the week with:

  • Proven, individualized, hands-on instruction
  • Access to real-time data and telecollaborative projects that promote inquiry and problem-based learning
  • Engaging science content that can be easily implemented in the classroom
  • Standards-based, customized lesson plans
  • Classroom management and implementation strategies
  • An implementation web page with curriculum resources and a plan for implementing these resources in their classroom
  • Access to unique and compelling Internet resources
  • Lesson plans for implementing a real-time or collaborative-based Internet project

 

Dates: July 10-14, 2006: Grades 9-12 
July 24-28, 2006: Grades K-5, 6-8
Place: Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey
Cost:

$695**    
Does not include travel, meals or housing costs.

 

**Graduate credit available for $650

The Stevens campus is easily accessible by public transportation from all points in the NYC area.
